My Approach
Rooted in Stanislavski-based fundamentals—clear objectives, playable actions, and serious preparation, my approach emphasizes the kind of work that allows actors to truly listen, respond, and invest fully in our scene partners.
My aim is to create an environment that is collaborative, supportive, honest, and rigorous—where actors are encouraged to stretch beyond their comfort zones, always from a place of care and respect. There are countless ways to crack an egg. I'm far more interested in helping you explore and discover your way into the work than asking you to adopt mine.
Acting is, in many ways, a lifelong exercise in self-trust and self-love. The most compelling thing an actor ultimately brings to the work is themselves—their particular signature of humanity. At its core, the craft asks us to trust that who we are, fundamentally—when we are honest, open, and unguarded—is not only fascinating, but deeply worthy of attention and empathy.
Actors are often limited not by their talent, but by the way they see themselves, or the beliefs they carry about their work. My goal is to create a space where those limitations can fall away—where actors trust their instincts and bring more of their authentic selves into the character.
When that happens, we begin to access something deeply truthful and individual. And that’s where the real magic of the work begins.
